Wish you could dampen the drill and tool sounds, and still be able to hear people clearly, all while protecting your hearing? NOW YOU CAN!
Medical drills are known to generate excessive high frequencies, that over time may cause damaging hearing. Loss you may never regain. Most dental drills generate noise above 2KHz - right where Earasers target and provide the most reduction: between 2KHz-8Khz. That may only be two octaves of vocal range, but it can cause tinnitus and ear fatigue after a full day on the job.
Earasers allow voices to be filtered clearly, while dampening the damaging background noise. They provide up to 19dB of reduction in that high frequency range around 3kHz, while only reducing the primary voice range below 1kHz by less than 7dB. Wear Earasers all day in comfort and reduce the risk of contaminated by not needing to continually take them in and out. You actually might even forget they are in! Truly it happens a lot, as these are just that comfortable and clear sounding.
Innovative – The World's First Flat Frequency Response passive earplug [+/-4.5dB; 125Hz – 8KHz] “Resonant EAR Acoustic Technology” - no more muffled, or plugged up, sound. Affordable – Earasers are a fraction of the price of custom earplugs. Comfortable – Earasers are made of soft medical grade silicone. Adaptable - Earasers “Smart Seal” provides “custom-like” feel to your canal shape Cooperative - Earasers move naturally in the canal with your jaw motion Re-Usable – Earasers are easily cleaned for repetitive use. Better for the environment - Re-use means less foam in the landfills. Retain Clarity – Earasers' Open Ear Design allows natural sound to travel closer to the eardrum before being filtered. Virtually Invisible – EARasers have an “Inner Ear Design” which makes them virtually unnoticeable. ReNewable - Earasers strategic Two-Piece design allows you to DIY and ReNew just your silicone tips time and time again. We recommend at least once a year. Economical - ReNewal Kits save you money by allowing you to extend your original investment in your filter (the expensive piece) and economically ReNew just the silicone.
Sizing: Tips and General Guidelines:
Your personal ear canal size is determined by good ol' DNA! That's right! DNA! Your canals are truly gifts from your biological Mom & Dad! While there is no correlation between your ear canal size and your height and weight, and since this is a part of your body you will never actually be able to look with your own eyes, it is a bit of a guessing game. However, we are here to help and it's easier than you think.
First, we've taken some of that guesswork out by providing 4 Sizes of Silicone Tips. And yes, those sizes have some overlap. Out of those 4 tip sizes, 2 sizes fit about 85% of the general population. You guessed it...Small and Medium. Additionally we designed a Starter Kit just for first time users in mind. It allows you to get one set of Earasers filters, but includes two different sized tip sets (like X-Small and Small) or (Small and Medium) or (Medium.....well you get the idea). Starter Kits allow for the unique opportunity to try two different sized tips side by side to compare and then determine which works best for you. Once you know what size you are, then you'll always know moving forward for replacements or tip ReNewals. Now we are getting somewhere...This is where you jump in. It's best to pull from your life experience thus far. For the outlining sizes; (X-Small and Large): If this is you, by now, you've probably had some experience. Perhaps you've been told by someone, a physician or personal friend that you have Teeny Tiny canals. Or you've had personal experience with trying on other earplugs or ear buds. If nothing seems to be able to enter your ear canal comfortably, then you are most likely a candidate to try our X-Small silicone tip size. If you've had the opposite experience, where you can't seem to find a solution for something that will actually fit in the canal and still provide an appropriate seal, or perhaps a physician or friend has mentioned your canals are big, then you are most likely a candidate to try our Large silicone tip size. Side note for previous dedicated "Foam" users. Many of our Earasers users who repeatedly wore Foam plugs in the past, especially those who wore Foam Plugs in one canal only, are now finding that two different silicone tips sizes are needed for an appropriate seal for them. Ultimately their canal on the side they wore foam plugs on, is now larger. If this is you, so worries, we can easily customize Earasers sets to meet your needs. Now moving on to the most popular sizes: SMALL and MEDIUM Please remember we've not really met - so these are general guidelines to assist you. Remember you also have a Starter Kit option which will help you get into your first set quicker.
SMALLS: Typically 75% of Young Adults (includes Males approximately mid/late 20's and under) Typically 75% of Women Typically Students 6 grade - 12 grade
MEDIUMS: Males late 20's to 60's are about 40/60 Small/Medium. Guidelines: If standard earbuds seem to work great for you, then we suggest you start with a Medium. If standard ear buds seem to continually fall out because they are not going into your canals, then you are more than likely a Small. Likewise, if standard ear buds wiggle around in your canal, you more than likely would do best with Large. One common adjustment we make is for Males who get Mediums and actually would do better with Smalls. You'll know this is you if you end up having to "wedge" your Mediums Earasers into your canals only to find out that they fit so snug that when you try to remove them the tip stays in nice and comfy and the filter slides out. Scary as that sounds, it's O.K. Don't worry - your Earasers have not broken, you simply are trying to put too big a silicone tip in your canal space. If the too separate, the fact is the silicone tip is simply sitting in your ear canal, and yes, you just might need to enlist a friend with a tweezers to remove it, but it will be right there. It's not falling into your brain. Promise. And yes the two pieces of Earasers earplugs are designed to separate but only after you've been able to use them repeatedly. (See cleaning and maintaining videos and ReNewing videos for more in depth info on when this occurs and how to easily refresh them ). For this reason we highly recommend the Starter Kit for first time users so you get to try the Small and Medium at the same time. If the above mentioned, has happened to you.
