Earasers Earplugs for Musicians & Concerts

Earasers earplugs

Sonically Clear

Whether you are a musician, attend concerts or are regularly exposed to music played at high levels, Earasers don't plug up your ears and muffle sound like more conventional earplugs. Manufactured by a 57 year old hearing aid company, and developed by their lead engineer - a musician for over 40 years. Earasers filter out loud noise, protecting your hearing, while still allowing you to hear at a safe, comfortable level.

Earasers filter loud noise so you can enjoy sound at a safe, comfortable level. Soft, medical grade silicone conforms to the ear canal eliminating the need for expensive custom impressions.

The open canal shape and filter placement is specifically designed to allow sound to travel closer to the eardrum before being filtered, creating a more natural and clear sound which keeps the musical layering intact.

Most earplugs decrease too many low and high frequencies. Earasers focus on reducing the most sensitive range of the ear canal resonance (1K-6KHz), without over-reducing very low and very high frequencies which are already near the limits of human hearing. This achieves the “Oh WOW” element of clarity that is not found in other plugs.

With reduced noise levels up to 31dB from peak frequencies, horn players, drummers and even singers can enjoy invisible comfort and protection all day
long.

Earasers don’t plug up your ears and muffle sound like conventional earplugs.

Musicians have special hearing requirements. While it is important to reduce dangerous loud sounds, musicians still want to hear the sibilance, overtones, and space between the notes without feeling plugged up. Earasers are the first earplug to consider the response curve where it matters most - at the eardrum! We created the world’s first flat frequency response earplug [+/- 5dB; 250Hz-8KHz] so that you can hear clearly, without that plugged up feeling!

How to choose? If you have never tried Earasers before, we recommend the standard filter. However, if you are already experiencing tinnitus (ringing in the ears) or hearing loss or other hyper-sensitivity, we recommend you start with a stronger filter. Also, if you are not interested in sound fidelity, just blocking “as much as possible,” then you should try our "Peace & Quiet" Earasers under "Shop" tab above.
