Find your size

Earasers come with soft, flexible sleeves in four sizes: Extra Small, Small, Medium, and Large. Your ears are unique, so the right fit matters. A good seal is what lets the filter do its job while keeping music and voices sounding natural.

Which size is right for me?

  • Small & Medium fit most people. If you don't usually have trouble with earplugs/earbuds or you're not sure, start here.
  • Extra Small fits those with narrower ear canals. This may be your best bet if you have trouble getting things to go in your ears or they always stick out. Mostly seen in women and adolescents.
  • Large fits those who usually can't get earbuds/earplugs to seal, or feel like they go in too far. In our experience, more rare than XS, and most common in older men.

How should they look/feel?

There are a few cues you can use to determine if you have the best fit.

A good fit feels snug and secure without uncomfortable pressure or soreness. The earplugs should stay put when you talk, chew, or move your head.

When you speak, you should sound louder to yourself (occlusion effect)- this means your Earasers have sealed properly. If you sound more or less the same, try emphasizing vowel sounds (baaa, laaa, oohh). If you still don't notice a difference, you probably need a different size.

We also encourage you to take a photo of the fit or hold up a mirror. Do you see a lot of the silicone? Can you barely see the string? This visual information can help if you're uncertain about how they feel.

TIP: It's not uncommon for your ears to be slightly different sizes, so don't be surprised if each ear prefers a different sleeve!
