How the Field Study Was Conducted

This field study evaluated earplugs in real-world music and sound environments. Participants used the earplugs in live settings and provided ratings based on their experience.

The study included 56 participants and evaluated 22 different earplugs. Participants provided feedback on several aspects of the earplug experience, including comfort, fit, ease of handling, appearance, discreetness, dancing or movement, ease of conversation, and quality of music.

Earasers were evaluated in both the -17 dB Avg and -19 dB Peak configurations.
